Training for Sakernas 2024 Enumerators in Soppeng Regency

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Soppeng Regency successfully conducted training for the enumerators of the August 2024 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). This training took place over two days, from July 17 to 18, 2024, at the Grand Saota Hotel, Jalan Tujuh Wali-Wali Salotungo, Watansoppeng.

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a crucial survey conducted by BPS twice a year, in February and August, to collect comprehensive labor data across Indonesia. The data generated from Sakernas serves as the basis for formulating labor policies at the national, provincial, and district/city levels.

The training was attended by 26 participants, consisting of non-organic employees/statistical partners and BPS Soppeng Regency employees from various sub-districts in Soppeng, namely Lalabata, Marioriwawo, Marioriawa, Donri-Donri, Citta, Lilirilau, and Liliriaja.

During the training, participants were equipped with essential materials related to the implementation of Sakernas August 2024, including sampling design, household sample updating and selection, enumeration procedures using the FASIH application, and instructions on filling out the SAK.AGS24-AK questionnaire. Additionally, participants received training on field organization, the data and indicators produced by Sakernas, as well as field supervision and inspection procedures.

The training was led by two regional instructors from BPS Soppeng Regency, namely Junior Expert Statistician S.A. Herdiana Putri, S.Stat, and Intermediate Expert Statistician Anny Arjumiati Anis, SE, M.Si. These instructors provided guidance and direction to the participants to ensure they could carry out their tasks well and in accordance with the established guidelines.

With the completion of this training, it is expected that the Sakernas August 2024 enumerators in Soppeng Regency will be able to carry out the enumeration tasks optimally, ensuring that the objectives of Sakernas, to provide continuous and representative labor data at various regional levels, can be achieved.

The training was conducted smoothly and orderly, and it concluded with an official closing ceremony, marking the readiness of the enumerators to go into the field and perform their duties for Sakernas August 2024.
