Training on the Processing of the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) by the BPS Soppeng

On June 27 and 28, 2024, the Soppeng Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) successfully conducted the training for the Processing of the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) at the Second Floor Hall of the BPS Office in Soppeng Regency, located on Salotungo Street, Watansoppeng. This training is a crucial part of the preparations for the implementation of the SEP 2024, aimed at gathering economic data from agricultural units in the region.

The training was attended by 8 participants representing various roles in the field, including Inda, Processing Supervisors, Processing Officers, and one Sit-in Participant. They received direct guidance from a single Instructor, Ilham, SE., MM, from the IPDS Team of BPS Soppeng Regency. The Instructor covered important topics such as Data Processing Systems, Procedures for Using Client Applications, Procedures for Using SIPMEN Applications, and Editing-Coding Procedures from Block I to XIX.

In his opening remarks, the Head of BPS Soppeng Regency, Mr. Muhlis, SE, M.Si, emphasized the significance of the SEP 2024 in supporting the economic transformation in the agricultural sector, in line with Indonesia's vision for 2045. He also highlighted the necessity for solid collaboration among work units and full support from relevant agencies and departments to achieve sustainable national development goals.

The training materials delivered are expected to enhance the quality of the SEP 2024 implementation and ensure that personnel involved in data processing are well-prepared and motivated. Facilities provided during the training included snacks, coffee breaks, lunch, and local transportation allowance to support the smooth conduct of the learning activities.

With the successful execution of this training, it is anticipated that BPS Soppeng Regency will be capable of providing accurate and comprehensive information on the economic conditions of agriculture in this region. The implementation of SEP 2024 represents a crucial step towards the development of a modern and sustainable agricultural sector in Indonesia.
