Sakernas Officer Training February 2024 BPS Soppeng Regency

The Soppeng Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held training for National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) officers in February 2024. This training aims to improve the quality of employment data obtained from Sakernas.

SAKERNAS is a survey conducted by BPS twice a year, namely in February and August. Sakernas data is used to estimate the number of employed people, unemployment and other employment indicators at the national, provincial and district/city levels. Sakernas data is very important for the government in formulating employment policies that are right on target. Apart from that, Sakernas data is also used by various parties, such as research institutions, academics and the business world, to understand employment conditions in Indonesia.

The training, which took place from 22 to 24 January 2024, was attended by 5 participants and 2 instructors. On January 22-23 2024, training was carried out online via Zoom Meeting, while on January 24 2024, training continued offline at the Grand Saota Hotel.

It is hoped that with this training, Sakernas officers can understand their duties and responsibilities well, so they can produce accurate and high-quality data.
