Abstract

Data Collection of Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics with the Area Sampling Framework (KSA) Method 2020 is an activity carried out in collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT). This activity is included in a national project to support the achievement of national priorities for food security in order to improve food statistical data that was tested in 2015 and 2017. The main objective of this activity is to obtain a method of collecting data on rice harvest area that is objective, scientific, and involves the role of the latest technology so that agricultural data, especially rice production data that is collected becomes more accurate, fast, and timely. The publication of Rice Harvest and Production Areas in Soppeng Ragency 2020 explains all information regarding the results of the KSA data collection from January to September 2020. This publication is expected to provide an overview of the potential for rice cultivation obtained from field observations.
