Strategic Plan for Statistics Soppeng 2020-2024

Law No. 16 of 1997 and Government Regulation No.51 of 1999, states that the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a government institution that has the authority to conduct statistical activities in the form of censuses and surveys, to produce data and statistics needed by the government, private sector and the general public . As a reference in planning, monitoring, and evaluating the results of development, the provision of quality statistical data is crucial because it will have an impact on the effectiveness of decision making. Therefore, good planning is needed to determine the right policy direction and strategy in achieving the goals and realizing the vision of BPS as the Pioneer of Reliable Statistical Data for All. The Strategic Plan of the Central Statistics Agency (Soppeng Regency BPS Strategic Plan) for 2020-2024 was prepared to support the government in preparing the preparation of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) in the 2020-2024 period. Furthermore, the BPS Strategic Plan for Soppeng Regency in 2020-2024 adjusts to the vision and mission of BPS, which is an elaboration of the BPS Strategic Plan for 2020-2024 which is then used as a guide in the development of statistics for the next five years.
